Size recommendation: These slippers run small. If in doubt, choose a larger size.
Why choose a pair of lambskin slippers?
Just like real lambskin, real wool possesses several natural properties that make it an ideal material for slippers. The two most important qualities are breathability and temperature regulation. Because of these two properties, a pair of slippers made of or with wool will provide you with a long-lasting product that will ensure your feet don't sweat or get too warm.
We offer wool slippers in a variety of designs. Fall in love with a timeless classic like our Cross Slippers, or enjoy the versatility of the Lilly Cross Slippers, which feature a practical cork sole. If you're looking for a more durable slipper, our suede slippers with a soft lambswool lining could be the perfect match.
How do I care for my wool slippers?
Another quality of wool slippers is that they are very easy to care for. This is due to the fatty substance lanolin, which is naturally present in genuine lambswool. This property also contributes to the longevity of your slippers.
If you want to give your wool slippers the best possible care, we have put together three care tips for you.
1. Gentle cleaning : Clean the wool by moistening a sponge with a mixture of lukewarm water and wool detergent with lanolin. Gently work the mixture into the wool. Be careful not to soak the shoes. Remove excess water with a clean, dry cloth and let the slippers dry before wearing them again.
2. Gentle cleaning for stains : For stains, you can use a damp cloth and a little wool detergent to gently wipe the stain. Always remove stains as quickly as possible.
3. Odor control : Wool has natural odor-inhibiting properties. If your slippers start to smell unpleasant, you can lightly sprinkle them with a little baking soda and let it sit overnight before shaking or vacuuming it out. Alternatively, you can place the shoes in a plastic bag and freeze them overnight.
